Mr. Winkler makes benchrest and hunting ammunition for more than 280 individuals from all over the United States. Mr. Winkler spent the day with the gang from Champion's Brand teaching us the fine points of creating ammuntion from fire-forming the cases (comprised of Cream Of Wheat (uncooked of course), 18 grains of pistol or rifle gunpowder & toilet paper) to seating the projectile and everything in between.
One of the shooters that Mr. Winkler builds ammo for holds the world's record, and 5th place, for Marco Polo Ram. It is worth the time to visit with this gentleman and learn as well as have him work on your firearms if necessary. |
